Wildly original, playful and a little magical, this book blew my mind in a very good way.

I... Wow. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.

I’m so confused.
I think I called it but the writing was so disjointed that I might be wrong.
Is Summer like the Steven Grant to Winters Marc Spencer?

Someone please explain to me what this book is?!

This book is odd. Two unreliable narratives to create an unsatisfying whole. Many plot twists that do not advance the story. Superfluous characters. Stream of consciousness that leads to nowhere. Definitely not to my taste, and I cannot see the appeal for its intended readership.

i had no idea what was going on but it was beautiful and the ending... i didn't understand any of it and i'm not actually sure what happened but the writing had me holding back tears

Sometimes confusing plot but relevant context. Loved weaving of classic stories into the plot.

I had such high expectations for this book but I felt disappointed in it in the end. This is of course besides the mentions of the sisters relationship with their parents/father

Still confused by this book to say the least

This unusual story had me wondering most of the way through, asking questions and figuring out the who, what, where, when and why of it all.
Certainly thought provoking, even a little disturbing, definitely interesting.
