Similar to 'Get a Life, Chloe Brown', Dani's story of finding romance takes on similar themes of balancing the lightweight humour and banter with the heartfelt trust and bond of two individuals trying to overcome their conditions, a workaholic woman who doesn't believe in love and a man suffering from anxiety. Talia Hibbert has definitely find her area in the romance genre by focusing on mental health and what it might mean for a successful relationship.
This was cute, and my review will sound very similar to the first book in the series. I liked the characters, the way they interacted and each progressed on their path of self-exploration, maintaining a sense of self and a care for their relationship. The steamy scenes I thought were slightly less accomplished than in 'Chloe Brown', because they weren't as successful in making me visualise what was going on.
But you know, as much as the characters in each of these books are different, the recipe is the same. People who know each other but are in some way unavailable to one another, overcoming a deeply challenging condition or state and a happily ever after, demonstrating positive communication and support. So once you read one of them, you get the jist, so it becomes a lot more about the enjoyment than appreciating the originality or approach.

Zafir is the dream guy. Understanding. In touch with his emotions. Sexual. Hot. Compassionate.
Slightly annoying but quickly resolved 3rd act conflict.
Dani's neurocies are too much at times but relatable most of the time.

I realllllly enjoyed this book. I loved Dani and Zaf's story.
Friends to lovers trope. Romantic comedy. Anxiety representation.
This book did a really good job at all of these things.

I love fake dating. I loved all the characters. I loved the relationship dynamics between characters.
What to expect from the Brown sisters trilogy:
1. So! much! horniness!!
2. Plus size, Black, Muslim, Queer, Neurodivergent and disability representation
3. Loveable and slightly ridiculous and dramatic (said with affection) characters/situations
4. Beautiful family bonds
5. Humor!
6. Minor/Brief Harry Potter references
