I love fake dating. I loved all the characters. I loved the relationship dynamics between characters.

What to expect from the Brown sisters trilogy:
1. So! much! horniness!!
2. Plus size, Black, Muslim, Queer, Neurodivergent and disability representation
3. Loveable and slightly ridiculous and dramatic (said with affection) characters/situations
4. Beautiful family bonds
5. Humor!
6. Minor/Brief Harry Potter references

This book was so cute. I liked it maybe just a little more than the first. Zaf and Dani are adorable! They have so much chemistry and are so cute together. They’re also so funny and witty. I appreciate that the third act breakup wasn’t a true breakup and was resolved pretty quickly and efficiently. The way these two grew individually and together was so beautiful. I loved it!

It was reflective and caused some great conversation between my partner and I as we discussed having similar stances on love as Dani and Zafir. Overall I liked her character development even though I kept shouting for both of them to get a grip the whole time. I enjoyed this, it was a funny, predictable and quick read I didn't want to put down once I got into it. Really good read.

The best of the brown sister trilogy! a *slight* friends to lovers with great spiritual, religious, and cultural diversity. the inclusion of social media does not feel corny. the relationship is a slower burn than in chloe brown and both characters experience a growth arc. read twice! i love love love take a hint!

This was really sexy, really funny and incredibly sweet and cosy. There was a whole lot of fantastic representation and I especially loved the discussions about mental health for men. Zaf is described as grumpy but he’s actually such a gentle, kind guy and he cares so much for Dani and Dani is an absolute witchy goddess - together they make for such a gorgeous couple.

I listened to this as an audio book and the only thing I really had an issue with is that I wish that this had been dual narration and I wasn’t a huge fan of the narrator. I think this might have been a five star if I had read it as a physical copy.

I would recommend it if you’re looking for something cosy and sweet with a lot of great representation and loads of funny banter.

This was one of the swooniest romances that I think I’ve ever read. I had all of these giddy, happy, swoony feelings floating around in my brain and I literally had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading Take A Hint. It was just so sweet and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Dani and Zaf were so sweet and lovely and swoony. I loved that they were both so gone for each other (even before the fake dating) and how their fake dating made them realize that they might be more than just friends. I also really enjoyed both Dani and Zaf’s inner monologues! They were hilarious and relatable on so many levels. I just really loved them. Anyway, this is getting five stars and I’m so excited for Eve’s book! 😊
