These three short stories take place in the same universe as Cel & Anna (Lindsay Edmunds engrossing and imaginative debut novel about a computer who falls in love with his user), but they can be read as stand-alones. Succinct and wonderfully crafted, they transport you to a world both alien and familiar, where clairvoyance, quiet faith and extreme technology live side by side. They possess that Douglas Adams kind of offbeat humor that makes you realize -- this isn't so far out there.
The only downside is that you'll want to know more. After reading these stories, I immediately downloaded Cel & Anna, since I found the setting and characters so fascinating!
