Wow wow wow. Never have I ever thought that I would enjoy a memoir so much. Not only did Tom share nostalgic memories of his Harry Potter days, but also important memories from before in his childhood and later in adulthood. He stressed the importance of not stigmatizing mental health, therapy, and rehab. I was in awe of how he was able to write his story, making me laugh with subtle Potter puns, think deeply when he is talking about his own mental struggles, and smile when remembering the scenes he talks about in the Potter films. I recommend to EVERYONE who loves HP as much as I do. Wow.

adored this!! I was one of those little extras in the first two Potter films and was in awe of the main child actors, even though I was the same age as James and Oliver! I remember seeing Tom every and again so it’s incredible to hear his POV of the last couple of decades!

You never know what goes on behind closed doors. It doesn’t matter how big the actor is, they’re still human at the end of the day. It was so interesting to read Tom’s thoughts from childhood to professional to downright personal. It had me tearing up at some points and connecting with someone I never spoken to. There’s always something to relate with!

This book is a must-read and my first 5 ⭐️ of 2023!

Finished this in one day. Its a mixture of heartfelt, funny and/or interesting collection of anecdotes with a major focus on his time on the set of Harry Potter.
The book finishes up with two very personal chapters on Toms time after HP (or Potter as he calls it), in which he describes his struggles with mental health.

As a big fan of the HP franchise, I find great pleasure in his anecdotes about the shoots. However I feel like his personal anecdotes, unrelated to the movies is super interesting and I wish, that he expanded more on those stories.

Listening to the audiobook was fantastic. Getting to hear Tom’s impressions, laughter, sniggers made it so entertaining.

The book is a wonderful journey through Tom’s experiences as a kid actor from before Potter, throughout filming Potter and some cool behind the scenes stories, to his life after Potter.

Tom does a wonderful job at explaining her journey and expressing his feelings in the life after Potter and I have so much respect for him.

If you love Tom or are a Harry Potter fan, this is a must read.

An excellent memoir by Tom Felton. I loved his stories about being on set and the friendships he made on Potter. I also had no idea about his mental health struggles and I appreciate how openly he wrote about it.
