I picked this up in the store out of curiosity; as a girl who grew up loving Draco Malfoy on-screen, I was curious about the actor (whom I have, admittedly, paid little attention to afterwards). After just reading two or three pages in the store, I knew I needed to buy it because this didn't read like someone trying to make a serious book. This felt like someone sitting down and trying to have a conversation.

If you're looking for a serious, in-depth discussion of what it was like to be a child-actor on the HP films, this isn't the book for you. Yes, the majority of the book covers Felton's Potter years, and there are small behind-the-scenes stories shared that make it worth it for any fan.

However, this book is Felton (or Tom) telling a series of stories that create a path leading to who he is today, and how the HP films made up a large part of that path, for better or worse. We don't get Draco Malfoy or Tom Felton, professional actor: we get Tom, the young man who just so happens to enjoy acting and wants to be true to himself. Because I don't really pay attention to actors outside of their roles, and I don't really watch behind-the-scenes clips, I didn't know a lot of the stories and information in here. So this book was a pleasure to read. It gave me a new appreciation for not only Tom, but every single child actor from the Potter films (and all child-actors in general), and I thoroughly enjoyed every page.

I've never been a huge Harry Potter fanatic, so knew very little about Tom and his story. This was very interesting to read and Tom is a really good storyteller. It's a quick read and really helps you put into perspective that everyone has their own struggles and fame and fortune can't fix everything.

Very interesting to read about Tom's life, his experiences, how life was on the Potter set, and about his struggles in life!
