I'm not sure how to review this book other than to say if you enjoy historical fantasy based in Ireland with battling kings and scheming characters nearly everywhere - then this is the series for you.

What about two vastly different FMCs - one who is completely fucking ruthless who you will love one moment and be scared of the next while the other is softer but in no way weak ruled by her love and compassion for the people she cares for - this is the series for you.

Or maybe you love reading stories where the author captivates you from the first chapter - where the audiobook narrators grabs you by the ears and fucking draws you in with every word being uttered....then this is the series for you.

I'll be back for more.
