I'm sorry, but this book did nothing for me. It wasn't terrible. It was OK, nothing more. It was boring.

Zion and Celine had no chemistry in spite of all the discussion about the strong attraction they had for one another. The dialogue was dry and stilted. There was no build up of sexual tension, although we were told that sexual tension was building between them. Also, all of that talk about licking around her mouth, the way they tasted after the kiss was over, and discussion of their underlying scents seemed really old school to me.

I also didn't really care for the way Zion treated Celine. I guess after the way she let her father treat her, that was no great surprise. He was cold and standoffish. Only after having sex with her several times did he "realize" and decide he was in love. and

I'm not sure how old Zion was in this book. It only mentioned he was The youngest of the bachelors. His behavior seemed somewhat childish.

I have read a number of Brenda Jackson's books, which I really enjoyed, that were full of emotion, sexual tension, love and romance. This one, had none of that, no emotion at all.
