It was going so good until the end...I was hoping the big "twist" at the end wasn't what I predicted but it ended up being exactly as I thought it would be. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the story and it even took me out of my reading slump!

Honestly really bad. Used too many words or phrases that really came off as an older person trying to appeal to the youth.

God I really liked Zayne and Trinity for the first half of the book bc they were kinda cute but good lord it turned obnoxious.

Zayne was always conveniently shirtless and dripping water for Trinity to feast her eyes on. Like it was getting so tropey and uncomfortable for me. I was going to rate this a 3* and then the Misha thing happened. Which pissed me off to no end. There’s zero build-up to allude that he was going to do a 180 on her. I really loved his interactions with Trinity the most and I wish that the author did more with that instead of fucking killing him off and making him evil. God I’m disappointed. Not reading the rest bc wtf was this.

4 stelle!

I love her writing but this was VERY young adult. The plot was slow but I do believe it’s a series. Just took a long time to get anywhere!

I find this book has a topic (about blindness), that's a bit too heavy for me, so I won't be reading it.

So, I picked this one up because I was in @therippedbodice and didn’t know what to buy and saw that this MC has low vision and I was like ooh it’s July. Lemme buy a disability rep book. What a fun book with a disabled main character with the same disability as the author?? Love. It’s definitely a YA, but I devoured it. Read it in a day.
Also, as a side note, it was super relatable for me bc the main character was a 5’8, brunette with dark features, big eyes, and a nose that turned at the end. She also had a genetic disability and big boobs. So. I felt seen lmao.

I read the book several times and loved it but this time I listened to the audio book.
The narrator was good and fit the age of Trinity as she sounded younger.
Some parts are harder to hear than read and others I forgot how funny it was until I really listened.
