I listened to this on audible and I gotta say I really adored Emily as a character. Something about how blood thirsty she was just endeared her to me, no idea why. As far as a love story goes, it was a but businesslike for me to buy that part and I gotta say I was completely disappointed that when it came down to the really gory parts she didn't really get to participate. I just don't see the point in building her up to a strong independent woman only to have her sheltered and cosseted when push comes to shove. Also I felt a little cheated that this cuts out before the wedding and the aftermath. Overall though I liked the story.

While it was a good, short and enjoyable read, it wasn't as good (or as funny) as others like Hearth, Home, and Havoc or Whatever for Hire. 3.5*

Good fun.

I loved this novella! I loved Daniel and Miranda and Emily! I loved the humor. And the crazy back and forth Emily and Daniel had!

Narrator was GREAT! Fun story- Gotta love when murder and weddings are planned together! :)

I listened to this on chirpbooks.com.

Owl Be Yours (Magical Romantic Comedies, #4.5) by R.J. Blain – After being attacked in high school, Emily has been hiding in plain sight on her own for a decade. But the boy who tried to save her is not going to stop until she is back home where she belongs. Another hilarious cast! Happy Reading!
