I'm sure there are people who will enjoy this, but I personally was not all that interested in hearing about the petty drama of the Lost Generation's most prevalent authors.

Spare and true, as Hemingway should be. I'm glad I tackled this after "Paris Without End", which provided context for early 1920s Paris an for the Hemingways' eventually-tumultuous marriage.

Hemingway does writer-ly things in Paris. There are some entertaining anecdotes here and I really enjoyed reading about F. Scott Fitzgerald acting like an overly-indulged toddler.

Why did he write the chapter about F. Scott Fitzgerald like that?
