How is this by the sane author of Behind Her Eyes??? This book is sooo repetitive it’s agonizing. WE GET IT, SHE’S TURNING FORTY. The pace is ridiculously slow, and by the time the twist is revealed you just don’t care.

This was so fun to read. I enjoyed the story telling and the characters. I did not expect to like Emma that much but she was by far my favorite. The plot was good, overall. It kept me guessing all through.

And the epilogue, I did not see that coming. I'm just imagining Adele/Rob listening in on David and Emma's conversation, I almost feel bad for Emma
