Whether you are academically curious or looking into witchcraft sincerely, this is an informative read. Lyte writes with levity, even when discussing ethical consideration in the sourcing of materials and practice in general. My take away was that witchcraft is mostly about feeling how you connect with materials and symbols, and using them accordingly.

So I tried this as an e-book & an audiobook. I found the book & its content to be absolutely fine & very enjoyable. It just wasn’t for me at the end of the day. This feels like a book that I could return to when I don’t have anything pressing on my TBR, but unfortunately that time is not now.
