For the most part I enjoyed this 😊
My favourite poem had to be O Come, All Ye Faithful. I think Wendy Cope could have mixed up her style and structure a bit more as some poems tended to blur together but overall it was all good.

Wendy Cope is as always funny and poignant. Not every poem worked for me, but the ones that did stayed with me for a while after.

Another impressive collection by Cope. In this work and the following, Anecdotal Evidence, Cope nails her nostalgic, ethereal, graceful style of poetry.
Well worth the read, along with all her poetry. The second section of concert poetry is truly some of her best, in my opinion.
