Very sweet little book. Simple to read but the characters are well established and written. Happy I own a copy for a rainy day

Marcellus is my new favorite character.

I found the humans a bit boring, but I suppose that aligns with what Marcellus thinks of us too.

I wouldn't say this is a book I'll be raving about to everyone, but if someone happens to mention it, I might say I enjoyed it.

The summary says it’s about “a remarkable friendship” between woman and octopus. The octopus is involved in about 7% of the story and was maybe the most interesting part of a boring story. Nothing happens the rest of the book besides people talking or complaining. 2 stars only because I finished, otherwise I’d do less. This book is not worth your time in my opinion.

Really loved this booked, such a cute and unique idea. Absolutely hated Cameron's character as he is just the most annoying kind of man-child. Also not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope and found myself shaking the book screaming JUST TALK TO EACHOTHER. But even with that, I still really loved it and Marcellus is one of my favorite book characters of all time!
