A nice suspension of reality Christmas story - with Al ejected from santa land and Wilhelm coming to the rescue - with Christmas crafty times too.

Oh this was lovely. Wilhelm hates Christmas but has to decorate and provide gifts to his sister's family who grudgingly offers to come to his house. There is a story there but we're not sure what it is. Wilhelm finds himself in Michaels, somewhat overwhelmed by the crowds and massive amounts of stuff. I can relate - HAH! The store gives me hives. Anyway, a guy in green overalls sees him and takes pity on him. Alabastair has been kicked out of Santa's village so needs to find his way in cold, snowy Chicago. Really liked this sweet, wry and quite sexy tale as we see Wilhelm's heart melt and we find out exactly why he's such a Grinch. Great characters and well told story with considerable depth for such a short book.
