One of my friends finished it in a single reading. I saw many comparisons to gone girl. I couldn't finish it in a single reading (it wasn't that compelling) and it wasn't a gone girl so it's hard to say that it was really good. I did enjoy it, it's worth reading. The characters are nicely developed. The women character blend into each other, it's hard to know where one starts and the other ends...they are very similar. The same is true for the men. It seems that this is intentional so you are left wondering. Any of the main chapters could have done it when your suspicions become reality, it isn't a surprised as you've been led to the answer.
