For me this was just fine. I don't even have much to say about it. I don't think it went really deep into exploring the topic, but at the same time, I enjoyed the mundane yet dramatic nature of regular, easy jobs. It was a bit boring though.

Here we are following our protagonist try and whole range of different jobs after a period out of the job market due to overwhelm. Being sceptical of the worship of labour and employment meant I was pretty intrigued. But I just loved this.

I enjoyed the workplace relationships, politics and idiosyncratic quirks of each job she tries. We are even left with question marks over some of the mysterious aspects that never quite get fully resolved.

As someone who has jump around jobs and been in and out of the relationships that comes with being in the workplace I just loved the way that the anxiety or concern over small things, which were so plausible as actually the things that get under your skin and become big.

I really liked the story, it was fun to see the main character go through different jobs. Each job had a fun story to it and I liked the characters. This book made me feel at ease!
