I wish I could give it a lot more stars but since I can't I also feel a bit of sadness at coming to the end of this series. I loved the surprises thrown where I didn't even expect to see and even when I though I knew what was going to happen it wasn't quite what I expected.

Wow this series has come to an end. Again. That alone should make you want to read it if you have read any of the series. If you haven't read any of the series I wouldnt start with this book.

I can't believe it's over. I'm not going to lie, I wish there was more to the book. I know domestic stuff isn't Goodkind's style, but I wish we could've read about the life Kahlan and Richard so deserve.

I bought Severed Souls and Warheart the day they came out. I finished both within days of each other, just now. Why? Because I couldn't stand to have the series end. I couldn't stand the thought of Richard dying (because my brother spoiled that for me, the brat). That's the same reason I put off reading Chainfire... I didn't want Richard to forget Kahlan. I'm glad I did finish them, however. And I suppose if this is the ACTUAL, 100% REAL NO TAKE BACKS OR CONTINUATIONS end to the series, I'm glad that it was a happy ending, even if I saw some of my all time favorite characters die.

Here's to hoping for another book from Terry Goodkind, even if it's not about our beloved heroes Richard and Kahlan.

A great end to the series. I will miss these characters greatly.

This book was really good. If this is to be the last Richard and Kahlan book I was hoping for a little more at the end though. Such as Kahlan being pregnant to start the confessor line again and a new Rahl. Now that this series is apparently over I hope Goodkind will do another Magda Searus book or even a sequel to Law of Nines

Review:
Story: This book had me feeling all sorts of things. I was happy that I was finally at the end of the series. These characters can finally go about their lives. (Yes, I'm aware they cease to exist after the book is done. Let me live!) I was also heartbroken that I will not be reading about these wonderful characters. I grew so attached to each and every one of them. I felt like I felt what they were feeling through the whole series.
Characters: There's just too many to notate. We have our Richard and Kahlan. The two that people just can't help to love or hate. We have Cara and the rest of the Mord Sith who have really come out of their shell since Richard gave them their freedom. I could go on, but I think my point has been made.
Critiques: WHY DID IT HAVE TO END?????
Narration: Kind of gave me Unsolved Mystery vibes. If you have ever heard the host on that show and listen to this book, you'll get it. Just trust me.
Final Thoughts: I'm filled with joy at being done with the series and intense sorry at being done with the series. I really need to find many people I can discuss this book with. I also wish to give my condolences to the family of the author as he is no longer with us. I hope they are touched with the fact that his books have impacted so many.

Nothing like a long drive to be able to listen to an entire audio book. Warheart was so good. Really reminded me of the first books in the Sword Of Truth series. Even though there’s a lot of serious stuff going on, the book isn’t completely dark and sad and bogged down. There’s still plenty of light-hearted moments. Was a nice ending to the smaller series as well as the larger series as a whole.

It's strange, I flew through most of the book, not really enjoying it, mostly sticking with it because of nostalgia. But then, near the end, in one scene the tension skyrocketed and fully gripped me until the end of the book.
There's certainly a lot of fan service in this book, but it's done well and I enjoyed how everything was connected. Now I can finally say I finished this series.

Great book. Did get a little irritating towards the end, but I guess it was necessary.
