Steve Brusatte’s review reads: “This is pop science that reads like a fantasy novel, but backed up by hard facts.” I would agree! It is an extremely entertaining book. I will say I think this is a book for “dinosaur beginners” who perhaps haven’t read much on the topic yet. I also think the appendix which talks about how he chose to weave certain facts into the narratives he created is a must read and was the most interesting part of the entire book for me.
