I really appreciate that this author writes stories about plus size women who are actual people and not just their size. It’s empowering and sexy. This book was cute, light, and steamy, making it the perfect read after I had my heart ripped out and stomped on from the last book I had finished.

I started this book expecting wild spice and pure chaos based on the title—and yes, it absolutely delivered the 🌶️… but what really surprised me was how sweet and heartfelt the story turned out to be. It’s about falling for your high school best friend, being unapologetically yourself, and finding someone who loves you for every ridiculous, spicy, soft bit of who you are.

The “he falls first” trope completely got me. Watching him be so clearly gone for her while she’s still trying to figure things out? Swoon. This series might look like a joke at first glance, but it gives you all the feels. I laughed, I blushed, I melted.

Turns out, I am a romance reader—I just needed the right mix of heart and heat to prove it.

"For now, we're going to celebrate. Anyone who wants to toast to love, to breaking norms, and to never having to say you're sorry for being truly, unapologetically yourself, you're welcome to join us. Everyone who's mad that the haters didn't take us down? Well, you can fuck off."

This book was one of the cheesiest books I have read and I absolutely loved it, I loved how lighthearted it was and still had a soild message mixed in between. Chris and Trixie both had really good chemistry and I loved their banter between them, I love how unapologetic Trixie is and I really enjoyed seeing a body positive plus sized MFC. Chris was also a really good character and I loved how he let Trixie stand up for herself and didn't need to come save her but instead stood by her side as support it was really refreshing to see this in a plus sized book. The Kingsman family is defintely one of my favourites I love their humour and how protective they are of each other and I can't wait to meet the rest of the boys and read their stories. I will say was this the best thing written no but honestly I found this so easy to read, it was such a good palette cleanser and it was a quick read and I generally found myself enjoying the book a lot I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
