The only thing this book didn't do was make me cry!
Laugh...check
Snort...check
Aspirate flavored water...more than once! (Do not drink flavored beverages while read and absolutely stay away from carbonated drinks. Trust me!!!!)
Choke on the words...in the best way possible.

Stevie J. Cole has made me a believer. Cancun will be the only place on my list for a post divorce bash! ( It seems like I'm tempting fate, having read this on my anniversary but I think I made a solid choice.)

Reckless decisions and mass qualities of alcohol can lead to all kinds of debauchery...or awkwardness. And our heroine has an A+ for awkward. I love quirky leading ladies and Ms. Cole gave us a prime candidate. For all my fellow awkward ladies with mildly awkward to full on train wreck tendencies, Charlie is the poster child for our species. I may not rock Chuck Taylor's (my arches) but with high heel immunity and t-shirt and jeans being my wardrobe staples- I know Charlie would be in my circle. Add in her sense of humor, her slight crazy, and her sass- instant bestie.

Now that Charlie and I are celebrating our new status update...I just have to figure out how to steal her man. Nothing personal Charlie but...DAMN! Everyone I know needs some of that! But um I don't share so...Charlie, you have to go!

Tell her! Stevie J. Cole, tell her he's mine. Tell her it was a typo, her name is Becky. I don't care what you tell her because that man, El Chapo, is MINE!!!!!

This is the first book I have read by this author and now I am kicking myself for not reading her work before. Fluid and brilliant, this story kept me on my toes throughout. I laughed and I swooned during this book. Charlie is so beyond relatable that I felt a kinship with her. She was awkward and the things that came out of her mouth at the most random time was priceless. Then you add the tattooed sin on a stick Elijah. Now that man knew how to swoon a lady and his patience for her was amazing. To him it was like a fine art and found himself diving head first in with Charlie.
Overall, this was a great read that was constantly on the go. I enjoyed the concept as well as how the characters developed. Charlie’s friends just add even more to the shenanigans! It is a definite one sit read and I highly recommend it!

I was wrapped up in this book from the very beginning. Charlie was just a great character that I immediately related to and love love love her crazy friends. Elijah stole my heart from the moment he first spoke. The way that he slowly woo'd Charlie and ultimately loved her was so sweet and jaw droppingly sexy. I wish there was more to their story!

For my first book by Stevie J Cole, I am hooked. This book was sexy hilarious and so enjoyable. Charlie is on a divorce vacation with her best friends; she gets a little too drunk on tequila and has a one-night stand with a Hot Tattooed Stranger. Six months later, Charlie has a run in with her one-night stand Elijah (BEST NAME EVER) and somehow she ends up agreeing to four dates with this man. Can Charlie get over her insecurities to give this relationship a real chance? Is she ever going to tell Elijah her real name?

I was stuck in this book until the end and was holding my breath during the last couple of chapters. The best part about this book is not only the main characters but Charlie’s best friends Steph and Dani. Steph is a scene stealer and her one-liners had me laughing so hard that I had tears. I am so hoping that we will get books for Steph and Dani.
