I would die for Nikolai Lantsov.

Honestly though this was SUCH a fun read!

Zoya's transformation is probably the pinnacle of every single media I will consume for the rest of my life.

SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW. DONT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK YET AND PLAN ON READING IT

Okay you have been warned:)
I cannot even begin to describe my emotions after reading this book. I have been a diehard fan of the grishaverse for a good two years or so and for this to be the last book with these characters for a good while was a shocking blow.

Starting off with the plot. It was so action packed and full of suspense and plot twists. There were epic wars and heists and evil queens. It was insane.
We got to meet some new characters who added a new layer to the story. Honestly the new girl's point of view we got, Mayu was all-right, personally I was not a huge fan of reading them. Not because there was anything wrong with them it was just I wanted to get to Nikoli's point of view:)

Now on to my least favorite part of the whole entire book, besides the ending but we will get to that in a second, David, the most innocent, loving, sweet characters who was so full of love and awkwardness and made me smile, is dead?!?! Come on Leigh Bardugo, yes it made the book tragic and I get why you did it but seriously?

The romances in this book were slow burn like Leigh likes to write them. I loved seeing Nikoli and Zoya's tension throughout the book. Nina and Hanna? I did not see that coming but thought it was cute.

All right now to the moment that had me shaking and squealing like a fangirl. We got the crows back!!! I was flipping out. To get a few pages with Kaz was a dream come true. His feelings for Inej were more noticeable in this book than the six of crows that is for sure. And to see a little bit of Jesper and Wylan as well. I could not ask for more. Then, at the very end Leigh satisfies all of us with the Wraith herself was absolutely mind blowing and I do not know what I did to deserve it.

All I have to say about the ending is we better get SOC #3 or I will sure. Lol.

5 out of 5 stars. Nothing but good things to say about this book. May be a tied second with Crooked Kingdom to six of crows but we will see after my reread of Crooked Kingdom.
