Age-gap, grumpy-sunshine, with great banter between the FMC & MMC. Cade a single father wears a mask daily, but when he needs a nanny to care for his son Luke… in walks young Willa- who gives him a run for his money. I enjoyed Willa’s carefree spirit- it balanced out Cade’s up-tightness lol. Luke was my fav. character throughout… an abandoned boy by his mom who simply wants to feel nurtured from a motherly person; Willa was that for him & so much more!

Heartless by Elsie Silver

Once again we get a fast paced, small town, steamy fic from Elsie Silver. This one is complete with cowboys, ranchers, side characters we know and love, and Daddy Cade. Is this a literary masterpiece, no. Would I recommend this to my friends who read romance? Absolutely, hence the 4 star rating. 

I find Silvers work easy to read and she always includes the spice. She's consistent in her writing style, and formatting which I enjoy! The chapters go between Willa & Cade's POV, some include text exchanges between the characters which I find gives a peak into their thoughts! 

If you're a contemporary romance reader that leans towards small town, cowoy romances then this is absolutely worth a read!
