This was a really great graphic novel that did a fantastic job of exploring friendship and growth and the ways we evolve and overcome fears. Definitely recommend it, especially if you love horses.

This was so cute. As a fellow Horse Girl, I really liked reading about the kids and their different relationships with riding and horses. I really enjoyed this and the artwork is fantastic as well.

My sons and I read Ride On by Faith Erin Hicks. This is a middle grade graphic novel that I think would also be appreciated by young adult readers (and adult readers, of course!). It reminds readers of the great emotions that come with friendship---falling out with friends, meeting new friends. This was the book I needed in middle school.

PopSugar 2016 reading challenge #22
A graphic novel about a group of kids at a riding school. When a new girl shows up, she at first rubs people wrong by saying she doesn't want friends (she just wants to ride). But eventually we realize why she is afraid to make friends. The kids all become friends. They all overcome different fears. It was a cute story, but the horses definitely take the backseat in this story. It is more about friendship.

Wish it focused more on horses than the weird Star Trek rip off stuff.
