bruh this book is just the boy being a passive coward the whole time and doing and saying awful things to the girl and then he does one good thing for her at the end and she's already on her way to forgiving him. and then the book just ends! right there! no closure, no conclusion!

I really enjoyed this book. it was funny and also sweet.

For most of the book, I thought it took place in the 50's. That might be because I watched the trailer for the film which takes place during that time. It was a bit jarring when I found out that the time frame was a bit more current. Imagine my surprise when they mentioned CD's and the internet! Hah!

But anyways, I generally enjoyed the book. The story was sweet, and I was invested in the characters. 4 stars!

Flipped had some great messages woven into the story! I also enjoyed seeing the parallel POVs and how they were often so different from each other.
There wasn’t anything I really disliked about the book; I’m mainly giving it 3 stars because it just didn’t feel that memorable to me.

Write this with my 11-year-old daughter. Great book for preteens and teens. Fun, funny, good messaging, strong female character, who is different but of confidence and uniqueness. Excellent read.
