I am really digging this author!
This is the second book I have read in this series- which by the way are complete standalones- and I have really enjoyed both of them. I think I liked the first book just a little better, because well, Josh. Although, Jagger is a very close second. And up next is Grayson...can't wait for that one! :)
I really like how this author tells a story. I love how she creates the perfect amount of angst and sexual tension. I love that things take time to develop and small pieces of the past are slowly revealed.
Jagger was a fantastic male lead and Paisley really grew on me after about the 80% mark. In the end I was all in for these two characters!
I am so glad that I decided to start this series after having these books on my Kindle for a year or more! I will definitely be keeping my eye on books from this author in the future.

I have a soft sport for a good meet cute, and when Jagger saves Paisley from nearly drowning after the both ogled each other on the beach I knew I would love their story.
Jagger is your usual trouble maker, with the biggest smart mouth who just can't help but be 'the death' of all his flight school instructors and team mates. In other words, he's delightful to read.
Paisley is tired of living a half life, being treated like a delicate vase about to break. When she meets Jagger suddenly her life has color and burns with such an intensity that I was afraid for her, and was genuinely anxious every page wondering when her heart would give out, literally.
Her connection to the army and flight school adds extra drama and flavor to the story. The fact she's the daughter of the general and her boyfriend is competing with Jagger for first in class creates a 'forbidden love' vibe to the story, and given Jagger's inclination to be daring and in love with Paisley it's the perfect recipe for a good romance.
