I remember picking this book up and immediately putting it in my basket because I loved the colorful cover and the title was intriguing. Well... like they say never judge a book by its cover. I wanted to at least end up liking this book so I stuck it out and read it to the end. Turns out I finished it and still did not like it. Jane was always unhappy with her life and I believe that was because of the choices she continued to make.

It’s not my usual cup of tea but it was enjoyable. 3.5/5.

Written in the exact way my innner dialogue speaks, which felt very comforting to read.
I know Jane. I am Jane.

Sarah, she liked it.

The early chapters helped me out of a reading slump, but the later chapters almost sent me into a new one.

This book is absolutely hilarious, but the adult to children ratio in later chapters is very unpleasant to me, including the children who disguised themselves as adults (especially Gary). I just feel so frustrated and exhausted on Jane’s behalf. Maybe that’s what love stories do, they eventually turn into something exhausting with more people in it.
