I wanted a fast-paced, easy and quick read so I could binge it before Reckless was released.

And this book delivered that but it delivered so much more...

The plot never got boring; I was mostly unsure what was going to happen. The ending was so crazy and the betrayal hit so hard. My jaw was on the floor and my heart was with Rosalyn.
At times, I did anticipate the twists but that didn't bother me.

I didn't love Rosalyn. Some of her actions bothered me and I felt like screaming at her sometimes. However, I could move past it so I liked her most of the time.
I liked Devroe in the beginning of the book and then he confused and irritated me. Also, how can I like him now given what happened?

I liked the realistic problems that was weaved in the book. For example, big museums collecting artifacts from other countries and hoarding items that they didn't need. Most people wouldn't like Instagram being used but I found it more ironic and realistic.

This book is criminally underrated and I highly recommend you read this!
Just a warning that the ending was a cliffhanger. It wasn't a bad cliffhanger but if they annoy you, maybe wait for the next book?

Enjoyed this story about thieves since it's different for a book plot. Also, the plot twists were very enjoyable as well as the character development

WOW! This action packed, fast paced, international heists, YA had my heart pumping!

I read this in one sitting it was too good to put down! This story follows Ross and her fighting to take the winning spot against the world's best thieves in order to win the prize of a wish. The wish that could save her mother.

The twists and the ending of this book had me WISHING that book 2 was available! Would I reccomend this book? DEFINATELY!

Thieves Gambit was overall a fun read. It started out kind of slowly and took me a while to appreciate it, but once the plot picked up, I was in. I was surprised to find quite a few spelling errors, more than I've ever seen in a published book, but they became less as the story went on.
It took me a long time to figure out what age the main characters were supposed to be. At first I thought they were younger teenagers but then they started doing some older things. The back of the book says the main character is 17. I thought maybe the author could have portrayed the ages better.
The character development and interactions were my favorite parts. I wasn't following the heist parts as much as I was following the characters interactions and the dialogue.
A fast read if you're looking for a good time and something that doesn't take too much concentration. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
