I don’t really read much YA anymore but this was worth making an exception for.

It was an unusual kind of story, teenage thieves. I half-expected it to have a fantasy feel to it but was glad it was set in the real world (or as close to the real world you can get). I’m glad it didn’t spend the whole time every man for himself. The interaction between the characters was enjoyable and the heists were tense.

It sets itself up for a sequel and I’ll definitely be back for the next one.

What’s not to like…a heist story featuring hand picked competitors from all corners of the world who sometimes compete individually and sometimes in teams, all hoping to win a prize beyond imagination. All this and an unexpected twist at the end, which’s will almost certainly usher in a sequel. This book doesn’t take itself too seriously and is loads of fun.

Fun read. I didn't realize it was YA when I started as it quickly became very Hunger Games like for aspiring thieves. No need to read any more although I had few complaints on this one.
