So pleased to have finally read this. I started with this book, got through part of the first chapter, and realized it's a spinoff. Cassel is the best. I knew that from Leland's books, but this just cemented it. He's the sweetest, most earnest, insecure, amazing human. I love him. Watching Jeremy open up and become more comfortable was a joy. Everything about this book was a delight, really. And yes, of course, whenever Leland showed up, I cackled like mad. I am so looking forward to more books in this series!

Great book

I really enjoyed this book. It is part of another series by Alice Winters but can be read as a standalone.

I loved seeing the relationship between Cassel and Jeremy grow. The action was also very well done!

I love Leland and he did not disappoint in this book either.

It was having all the characters together!

There was just so much “forgiveness” and “safe shootings” in this it irritated the fuck out of me. Jeremy is soooooo annoying and should always just stay silent and love cassel. I’m so annoyed. Going back to my leland and jackson because they’re the only ones who know what i want
