DNFed like 10% into the audiobook. I cannot listen to her call her boss “little fat dick” one more time, she used the g* slur, and like everyone sucks in this book. Also, eye rolls at how she mentions how petite and itty bitty she is every other sentence. Like I will not suffer through this whole thing

Reread 2/13/21: still great upon reread, though honestly, not quite as good as I remember, so I bumping it down from a 4.5 to a 4. Still a very swoony read with lots of fun banter!!!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeekk!!!! So cute!! So swoony!! I’m obsessed!! I love the banter, the snark, the pining! What a fun ride! I stayed up until 2am trying to finish it in one sitting!
Overall, I’m giving this book 4/5 stars. I thought the ending wrapped up too quickly, there was a bit of internalized fat-phobia, which was very off-putting, and Lucy (the narrator) is soooooo unbearably pretentious in the first chapter I almost completely stopped reading (it gets much better after that).
But overall, I absolutely adored this book! I’m not usually a big romance reader, but this one hit all my buttons!

This is a classic office enemies to lovers story, but with a lot more wit and heart than I anticipated.
I loved Lucy from page 1 and admire her passion, irony and willpower. Despite being a ’shortcake’, as some evil men might say, she rocks and knows how to fend for herself.
But a strawberry couldn’t thrive with a little bit of sunshine ;)
Enter Mr. Templeman, her office counterpart and declared nemesis. He is just what I picture my knight in shining armour to look like.
Their office games are legendary and both of them working hard to be promoted gives their banter a deeper meaning.
I try not to spoiler the plot too much, but dare I say that the ’revelation’ left me speechless, and it made the whole story so much more wholesome.
This book made me laugh out loud so many times and it had the perfect amount of sexy times.

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. This is EVERYTHING I need in a book, and more. I read it all in one sitting because every page and every paragraph always left me wanting more! I had to find out what happened next with every part of the story!
