This was a touching essay giving me a glimpse into Jessica Simpson’s life. It makes me eager to read her memoir, which is on my TBR list this year.

What a quick but beautiful read! I think in my person opinion that Jessica Simpson is judged so easily for her past and her time on reality tv. Throughout this book, I found inspiration throughout every single page. Her advice to let go, take the lead is so inspiring.
4/5 Stars - I love Jessica, love the way this book is written and how inspiring it truly is. I have not yet read Jess's other book, "Open Book" but am very much looking forward to it.

I absolutely loved Jessica's memoir, Open Book, so listening to this essay was a given for me. Although not as impactful as her full book (which is understandable since this is so short), this is a great 'refresher' to read when you need a bit of motivation/inspiration but don't want to reread her memoir. This is something I'll return to often I think, whether its to read the whole thing or just specific quotes/passages.

I listened to the free audio version. Simple little essay with some good basic advice.

I really love Jessica Simpson’s writing voice. She takes life seriously, recognizing we are meant to become something in it, to grow. At the same time, she’s honest and a delight.

I love Jessica Simpson. So glad I saw she has a Kindle short out! She's a good writer, and her voice comes through strong and clear. I'll have to read her memoir over the holidays!

Wish it was longer! Love how open & candid JS is about her insecurities/fears. Felt like I was reading her journal.
