emotional

I absolutely loved this book. It was emotionally gripping while weaving different storylines into one cohesive read. Apex and Callum have such a heartbreakingly beautiful story. I was completely devastated by Apex’s confession to Callum in wolf form. The epilogue, though, has such a great full circle moment for those two that was wonderful to see. I also really enjoyed the storyline between Mayhem and Mahrci. It was a sweet detour from the heavier storyline between Apex and Callum. There was another plot line dealing with solving a murder mystery that originally felt disjointed but ended up fitting seamlessly into the story. Overall, I loved reading this. I read via audiobook and it was incredible. There was so much emotion in the narration that it made particular scenes that much more devastating. I would highly recommend the audiobook.
