Four Point (Four Point Trilogy #1) was one hell of an introduction to the series. It’s angst filled, graphic and very dark and you wonder how main character Sali James can possibly come back after all she suffers at the hands of a particular savage sociopath.

Max Ellendale is good at the heavy stuff, much like Cari Hunter. It’s a specialty for sure. I am not going to write a long summary because it’s done already and much better than I can come up with on this lazy Sunday. I was riveted from the get go, loved the characters in all their broken splendor and the tentative romance that sprouts out of the ashes of it all.

I am eager to read part two (after I take a small breather with some much needed fluffy material).

There are a great number of triggers in this book. Rape, abuse, substance abuse to name a few, so be warned. This is not a light read but if you have a pair of big girl panties laying around, I higly recommend.

m/f, f/f explicit

Themes: trauma to the max, lots of angst, serial killer, the friends that stick by you are the friends that matter, numbers.
