Basically the same premise as Until Dawn but the characters were unlikable and half the plot felt so unnecessary. I should have DNFd but was hopeful there would be something worth it in the end. Meh.

This was such a fun monster read. The character development was a little shallow but I was still sucked in by the storyline itself. Loved how the monster description left some up to the imagination but was just enough to be unsettling. I definitely recommend this one!

I swear, Ania Ahlborn is magic. I love her writing and stories so much! To date I've read Seed, Brother and this winter horrorland of a novel.
.
I'm not a huge audiobook fan, but I needed to add this one in during summertime home improvements - and listened to it while I was painting my bathroom. The narrator was fantastic, and I even found myself yelling during listening because I was so invested in the story and characters.
.
There is quite a bit of blood and gore in this one, so make sure you prime yourself before reading. It's also very atmospheric- it takes place in the dead of winter, during a snowstorm. You just feel cold while reading this book.
.
I did manage to read the last quarter of the book, and it's just as amazing as the audiobook. I loved this story so much I bought myself a shelf trophy. Highly recommend this one!
