Ania ahlborn is one of my favorite horror authors but sadly this one just didn't work for me. I can't really put my finger on what was lacking but mainly I was annoyed by the friend group and their actions. I actually think I would have it enjoyed it more had we learned more about the creatures.

The first half for me was almost painful to get through but the second half amped up and I really enjoyed it

The ending was just the best thing and I wish the book started with as much bang as it ended
