This one just wasn't for me. It's a classic "creature feature" that would probably be a great movie, but didn't resonate with me as a book. I didn't like any of the characters and didn't care about their relationship problems.

I loved Seed by the same author, so I just think this one is not my style of horror.

April sucks, Lauren didn't deserve to die, Jane started strong but hate the fact she was so strung up over an ex after years, Sawyer should have stayed with his PREGNANT FIANCE and Ryan is a badass and also should have survived.... hate that the ending was so abrupt.

I love a creature feature and how both the of the books I’ve read from Ahlborn so far don’t necessarily have happy endings. This was an interesting and quick read, but I’ve been done with it for a day or two and already can’t remember a good portion of it. The characters weren’t really likable, but that’s also not something I’m usually worried about. Pretty good, I’d recommend it if you’re wanting something quick.
