I received this book as an arc read. This book catches your attention from the beginning especially when she meets the five other mages. It had the right amount of action and page turning points in the book. It also had the right amount of spice needed for a book in my opinion. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for this type of book.

The start of an amazing new series!! I absolutely loved this book! Lyra did an amazing job with the plot from start to finish - having the right amount of conflict, action, spice and resolution before we move into book 2. I would say it does not end on a cliffhanger because you do know the status of our main characters but we do have to wait for book 2 before the larger plot is resolved. I loved the mystery elements and how different this felt from the Fate Hollow series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

I loved it! I got this as an ARC and I could not put it down. I was reading a book before I got it but I was so excited to read Cordially Hexed that I switched books right away. I never do that. Give it a read! It’s so good… plus those FIVE guys

Like always i really enjoyed the world that Lyra Winters has put together. As this is her second series I will say this is shaping up to be really good. While I do like the install love I get from the other MMCs I do find that I am annoyed with Silas. This means that by the end of the series he will probably be one of my favorites. And while I am big with PNR and fantasy one thing I do wish that it had more of was explanations of the magical system just a bit more. I am hoping over the next book that we do get more information. While I still love my spice I find that lately I do love more knowledge of the magical systems in the books that I have been reading. This is not the fault of any of the authors I read but just the mood my brain is in!
