This is such a sweet book about a fathers love for his daughter. Despite societal pressures for him to maintain a perfect home his love for his little girl prevails in an unexpected way.

A goofy father/daughter story. Not 100% sure what the metaphor of the lawn and the weed was supposed to represent. A dad coming to an understanding about what’s important to his daughter? A dad finally putting aside work (mowing the lawn) to believe in love and friendship like his innocent daughter? Supporting your kid no matter what even if they like things that seem silly? Only Dandy knows....
