WOW! What an ending to an amazing series! I am sad that the KORT series is now complete but it is one of my favorites! I can’t wait to see what is next from Brandy! The ending to this series was beautiful! Seeing how all the couples are still there for eachother and where their lives are now.
Don’t let grumpy Gage fool you, deep down he is a big teddy bear and he knows it! I loved how Ainsley gave Gage a run for his money! This is a second chance so it is a little different for the other books in the series but these two had to work for it. Gage and Ainsley were torn from outside influences and we eventually find out the truth as they do too. When reading Ainsley’s story my heart broke for her. She has been through so much and so strong. Gage has also experienced so much during their time apart. They both are so strong and found a way to continue to move forward with their lives.
Gage and Ainsley bring the tension but it was so worth it! The spice!!! They had so many healing moments together and on their own.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A TISSUE!? Cause ya girl needs one right about now! This is the fourth and final book in the KORT series and it was such a beautiful bittersweet ending! All books must be read in order.
Charring Bones was one of my most anticipated release of 2025 and for good reason! I knew from Burning Ivy (book one) that Gage was going to be my guy and I was sooo right. He is a little bit broken, lotta bit grumpy, but such a sweet, caring, protective guy underneath it all! And Ainsley, oooo talk about having a girl crush! She is something fierce and I love that she gave the Big Guy a serious run for his money.
Their story was just so heartbreakingly beautiful. I am still in awe of Brandy’s writing and her ability to draw you in with a captivating plot and amazing characters.

♾️⭐️ for this book and honestly this whole series will live rent free in my head probably forever.
This book is so raw, beautiful, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a better way for the KORT series to end with one of my favorite found families! This book had me laughing, crying, panicking, and just experiencing all of the emotions - sometimes in the same chapter! I honestly wish I could re-read this book for the first time because I truly loved it so much.
I had a feeling that Gage was going to end up topping Ty as my favorite MMC and he definitely delivered! He’s always had that mysterious aura surrounding him and I knew there would be so much under the surface that would come to light in his book. What I didn’t expect was for Ainsley to also take my top spot for FMCs in this series! I mean, I love all of them, but Gage & Ainsley etched themselves onto my heart and into my soul. Both of them have experienced so much in their years apart, but they both are so freaking strong and always found a way to continue moving forward with their lives.
Ainsley certainly lives up to the nickname Wicked, and I loved how feisty she was from the beginning when they first saw each other again. She might have been seen as a lamb before, but now she is a lioness stepping up and refusing to be controlled by anyone, even the people who care for her. I respect the heck out of her for all her choices she made, even when things seemed so dark.
The tension between these two is so f**king thick that I felt it as if I was there. The way these two truly are enemies in every aspect when they are reunited only added to this tension. And the spice between them - HOLY SMOKES. It’s hot, but also cathartic in a way - if that makes any sense. There are scenes that I will NEVER be able to forget between these two!
I honestly was so shocked with some of the plot twists that this book has and I absolutely needed to keep reading to find out what would happen next. I cannot wait to see what Brandy has coming for us in the future, but I am so excited for it!
