I cried so much when I watched the movie. But when I read the book I wanted to hug my dad and tell him not to leave me

I liked this one better than others, though some of it seems unrealistic/hard to believe (Will being a huge hero and hurtling for Blaze and reaching her in no time when she gets burned). Will is perfect, Ronnie is edgy. Steve not telling his kids about his cancer for so long is effed up.
Overall though…not a great read, but not bad either.

The actual charm of this book is the way all of it's characters just ease their way into your heart. I read nicholas sparks work after a long time and I feel happy that he did not dissappoint me like true believer, which I read some time ago. The story is well constructed. You see ronnie become a fine young woman. The way she finds herself amongst all the chaos is very inspiring. We all get lost at some point in our lives but someone's love and care can always bring us back. This book is definitely a tear-jerker. This book awakens the good in you and makes you realize to enjoy each moment of your life among all the problems. To hold on to our hopes and fight for our dreams. To fall in love and more.

This is the most emotional roller coaster I've ever been on
It gets very intense I love his writing style because you can relate the whole way through the book

This is probably my favorite Nicholas Sparks book. It has the timeless romance of The Notebook, but caters to a YA crowd. The movie is just as great as the book.
