Always entertaining and even relatable at times for any women, I think. I love Jessi's humor and honesty. She's such a great narrator / storyteller. Looking forward to her next read.

I loved loved loved “You’ll Grow Out of It” and have had this puppy pre-ordered since I heard of its release. As a toddler mother myself, I related to so many of these essays. Jessi takes us through many complex and often vulnerable emotions. Needless to say, it is not quite as laugh out loud funny as her previous book. Rather, it feels like you’re lost in conversation with a dear friend.

I would/will follow Jessi to the ends of the earth.

I loved this! Such an honest take on motherhood, the hard, messy, rough parts no one prepares you for, and the amazing beautiful lovely parts.

Jessi Klein compares motherhood to a hero's journey, and I very much agree. I loved the essays on her picky eater, the night nurses, her mom style, the underwear sandwich, and listening to Beyonce's Lemonade in the Party City parking lot.

While I didn't relate to absolutely every detail (Klein acknowledges her privilege in having a lot of help and still not feeling adequate) I found her view very candid and refreshing.

Absolutely recommend the audio version, it was like listening to a hilarious but vulnerable standup comic.

Sooooo so so so good. I wish I could be friends with Jessi. It feels like she cracked open my brain and took all my thoughts and feelings and made them funnier, smarter and deeper. I laughed and cried at almost every chapter. I might read it again. If you have kids, please read this. It’s excellent.

It's been a while since I had little kids, but this book about motherhood is spot on! So relatable, funny, sweet, and did I say relatable?

Even as a person who is not a mom, Jessi Klein was able to make that experience come across in her essays. I love how this woman writes.

“A mothers heroic journey is not about how she leaves but how she stays.”

“I’m just saying, maybe life is easier with a wife.”

I cannot stop myself from laughing out loud while reading Jessi’s books. I simultaneously believe that we are the same person, while also knowing that she is way cooler than me. Jessi, if you see this, know that I aspire to be you, and that I now understand that I have never had a singular unique thought in my entire life.
