A very solid, entertaining addition to the Sigma Force series. A very well constructed story that follows the line of maybe- and what if-science that make Rollins' novels so intriguing. This time Sigma is looking into the origin of human intelligence.

Baako is the absolute best. I feel like half the story is pretty boring, but the Baako storyline is so good it makes up for it.

I've read almost all books by Rollins, and this is definitely his best. Fascinated and well-researched storyline, likeable new and old characters, disgusting and (unfortunately) utterly plausible villains plus a lot of mysteries and even more action. I've devoured it in one go and loved every single minute.

A really good read in the vein of Matthew Reilly. Nice stuff for conspiracy nuts, pretty current themes regarding genetic manipulation, and the action is intense. Great fun.

This wasn't a bad book, just not one that held my interest. I made it probably half-way through and decided that it is definitely one I can recommend to those looking for action/adventure books, but it is just too much plot and not enough of everything else for me.
