Ack! Went back to glance over my reflections on the books I had read by Sir Terry, and saw that this must have been far enough before my Goodreads days that it never made it onto my list. Which just won't do, because it's possibly my favorite book by one of my favorite authors. It was the first book I read by Terry Pratchett, and I was swept immediately into the world of Tiffany Aching and her grandmother and the hilarious and irreverent Nac Mac Feegle, a.k.a. the Wee Free Men. But it's time for a re-read anyway... more thoughts in the not-too-distant future when it's fresh in my mind.

I loved this book. This was my first Terry Pratchett that I finished (I tried the crumbling castle audio but never finished). I loved the story and the characters and I might have to read the whole darn discworld series someday. The humor was delightful and the audiobook was awesome. I really liked this book and they style of writing as well as the inner monologue of Tiffany, the chalk witch, as she told little stories to herself and with her first, second, and third sight.
