This is one of the Bookstagram made me do it. I am not sure if you heard about this book for the same content I did but I will tell you now that there is not any p3gg1ng in this book. I have checked into it a little but I am unclear if it is a misunderstanding from what the actual content is but it seems to be in reference to the 2nd book in this series.
Ok now that we have that out of the way... I was hesitant to pick this up because it is YA and I just do not have a good track record of liking many as I find the dramatics and immaturity of the characters frustrating. I will say that this one was not one of them. Is our FMC young and a bit naïve? Yes. However, I think the author did a good job with the character. I was intrigued about the world and what was going on as well as how the MCs would handle it. I did have a bit of a struggle trying to imagine and figure out how it exactly works being in the Chrysalis and the mental/mind plane but it wasn't enough that I had a difficult time with the story. I just have more questions.
I plan to read the next book to find out what happens and if I can figure out the reference made to this story that I mentioned earlier.
