I decided to give Lucinda another chance. After reading saving Noah, I was not wanting to read another book by her ever. But this one caught my attention. It was a good story. A little over the top at times, but I enjoyed it.

WHAT ON EARTH JUST HAPPENED??? This is undoubtedly one of the finest thrillers I've ever come across, but it's also incredibly disturbing.
I love-hate every second, and I wish I could experience those moments of surprise like nothing else.

This was such a fast paced read told from multiple POV between the past and the present and I love this type of writing style. The ending... the ending had my jaw ON. THE. FLOOR. Wtf?! I just set my book down and I’m just staring at it like…. what??? A mom’s club, a bunch of friends, who really aren’t friends at all. All the lies. All the secrets. All the drama. Plot twist after plot twist, even up until the last page. I couldn’t wait to find out who the killer was. I ended up loving Whitney by the end. Hade was, meh. And Brooke, oh Brooke. I was rooting for her the entire time, only to be majorly disappointed in what she did. I definitely plan on reading more from Lucinda Berry.

A good triller but another victim of being overwritten at times. And I REALLY needed more at the end.

Really enjoyed this book until the last 20 pages. The ending was chaotic and weak.

What! Wait what! I'm so shocked.
This was a drama filled mess and I loved it. Definitely a domestic thriller, but the domestic was the whole neighborhood.
I literally just sat this book down after reading it and I'm speechless. The twists shocked me. I was clueless. All of it. Absolute clueless.
I can typically guess the twists before they happen, and I really couldn't on this one. So many great twists near the ending! Absolutely loved this one!
