I can imagine that on another day, in another mood, I might not have liked this book so much, but as it was, I really enjoyed it.
Well written, and, once you suspend rational thought and get caught up in it, engaging

This book was a quick read and entertaining all the way to the end. The writing was quick and easy to follow. The characters had just the right amount of "build" without being overwhelmed by detail. Overall, and excellent book that I highly recommend.

I did NOT expect this book to have the plot twists that it did and I really enjoyed it. I had a hard time getting into it at first, but once I did I could not put it down. Super read!

A great read that was emotional and at times downright confusing - the author Ben Sherwood would only unload a few details at a time. Sometimes it was frustrating not being completely in the know, but after I was put in the know - I was certainly glad that there was a delay in knowing all the facts.

After thoroughly confusing you, to be simple - I am glad I read this book before I watched the movie. I always like to read the book first because I would rather a movie be ruined and I love to compare how the director's take the book and translate it onto the big screen. I absolutely love it when I have no idea it is a movie and I get to completely make up what the characters look like, this was not the case as I knew that Zac Efron would be Charlie, but I am interested to see what Tess will look like in the movie.

I would absolutely recommend to all who are interested in watching the movie to read this first. This book was definitely on the girlier side of my reading habit. As I will be watching the movie soon, you will see a post reviewing and comparing what I liked and didn't like.

Nice story, but quite predictable--if you can't figure it out by the end of the first chapter....

I was afraid I wouldn't like this as much since I saw the movie first, but I enjoyed it just as much as the movie. It was a little slow going at first, but I was quickly pulled in to the world of Charlie St. Cloud. This book was just as wonderful as the movie despite the differences between them. They both seemed to work and I enjoyed them both for different reasons. I also enjoyed some of the messages in this book such as living life to the fullest, our loved ones always being with us, and to pay attention to the little things like laughing, wind, etc because they may be signs from our loved ones.

Just as sweet and sappy as you could hope it to be.

A bit too soppy and predictable, but also I do always enjoy any ghostly elements.

I got sucked into this very quickly. Cheesey and corny and incredibly predictible, but I read it in about 2 hours - couldn't put it down!
