Ending was as expected, but still worthwhile, fast paced page-turner and 5 stars.
Recommended, but could have more (unexpected) twists.
Have ordered the next book in the series and will read it.

I think I have just found myself a new series to binge!! Once I got into Girl in the Ice, I couldn’t let it go, a solid start to a thriller series. I enjoyed the writing, the storylines and I love a strong females MC. Looking forward to delving into this series.

Just an okay book. Suspending disbelief was really difficult at some points, and the villain is kind of cartoonish. I'm not opposed to reading another of these books, but there are many I liked better, so this series would be low on my list.

This is a fantastic debut police procedural book. It is a fast paced crime thriller with a lot of twists and turns with a great surprise ending . The protagonist DCI Erika Foster is a kick ass strong woman who fights to get justice for the victims and does not care about police politics. She is not above embarrassing or blackmailing her boss and friend Marsh who wants to do the right thing but gets swayed by politics. The end was great and I did not see it coming . Overall a great read if you like police procedures and this book will keep you guessing till the end .Cannot wait to read the next installment in this series THE NIGHT STALKER

Loved it!

I couldn't stop reading it, it was absolutely great and parts where I couldn't read because I had errands to run I listened to the audio it was absolutely great and will continue to read the rest of the series... DCI Foster is an awesome character and I look forward to reading more.
