This picks up right where Fable leaves off.

I enjoyed this, but still had such a hard time connecting to our characters. I wanted to know them, to ache with them, to feel their suffering. But it didnt quite get there.

It did make me want more pirate reads and to look at gems though.

kinda underwhelming second book. But still a good conclusion. It’s just so much slower and little to none character development.
